Driving sales and efficiency with Hulu
I led the design of an internal platform used by Hulu’s sales team to create presentations
Hulu’s sales team sought a more efficient tool for creating presentations
We met with Hulu’s sales team in a day-long workshop to understand their needs and workflows. We also met with Hulu’s tech team to understand the capabilities and limitations of the platform.
We learned that off-the-shelf tools weren’t meeting their needs and they wanted a custom experience.
The dashboard
A key page was the personalized dashboard which included access to past decks and master templates.
A template builder
A key feature of the platform was managing a library of slides and slide groupings for repeatedly used formats.
Sharing tools
Collaboration and sharing was also key to the success of the platform. The platform had a users and groups area, and presentation collaborators could share with these groups.
Asset management
Assets were critical to the platform – that they were available, easy to find, and up-to-date. We designed a robust experience around finding and managing their assets.
At the end of the project, we handed off the final files for their team to build.
