Designed a suite of business management tools used by 250,000+ resellers

Beachbody resellers ran small businesses, promoting and selling Beachbody products and earning commissions from their customers’ purchases. They were the core of the company’s marketing and sales, driving massive awareness and accounting for nearly 90% of the company’s revenue. Some resellers made as much as $2 million per year.

My team designed the product, named Coach Office, that housed the digital products that they used to build those businesses, such as:

  • CRM tools for managing and communicating with customers and leads

  • Financial charts and graphs that showed their sales and commissions

  • A website creation platform for resellers to promote themselves and their businesses

  • A community platform where resellers could lead a group of customers through a fitness program together

  • A tool for resellers to pre-fill and send shopping carts to their customers, so it was easier for their customers to make purchases. After our redesign, the conversion rate from these carts rose to 45%

Reseller interviews and co-creation

My team worked closely with the resellers. We built relationships with many of them, would interview them and do co-creation activities to make sure that the products we designed addressed their needs.

The Success Club Tracker

One product was called the Success Club Tracker, and it incentivized resellers for doing particular activities that the company knew would drive resellers’ business. The goal of the product was to help new resellers develop good habits that would help their businesses.

Robust CRM tools

Our CRM platform supported over 10 million customers and prospects. It gave re-sellers a variety of capabilities, from seeing order details, filtering by different types of customers, and sending group messages in different ways.

Building connections between resellers and customers

My team also designed a community platform where resellers could create and manage a group (center and right images), and invite their customers (left), deepening the connections between them and also giving resellers more opportunities to drive sales.
